Armoured Vehicle Support
A tonne of added mass, and a set of modules still calibrated for the vehicle that left the factory.
Armoured Vehicle Support at a glance
Ballistic conversion changes the vehicle in ways the electronics never hear about. It adds roughly a tonne of mass and strips out components the ECU still expects to find, so the calibration has to be brought back in line with what is actually fitted.
That covers recalibrating for the new weight, programming DPF and AdBlue systems, and reconfiguring air suspension where heavy-duty springs have replaced the electronic setup. ADAS needs recalibrating too, because ride height and sensor angles have both moved. Current work includes the 2026 Mercedes G-Class and current BMW chassis.
